Learning that Feels Like Play
You don’t need a referral to get started. Simply call, email, or reach out through our website to book an appointment.
If it feels like the right fit, we can arrange an appointment to begin supporting your child’s communication as it grows and flourishes. If not, we’ll guide you toward other local services that may be better suited to your needs at this time.
Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with a short online questionnaire. This helps us prepare for your child’s initial assessment, so we can spend less time on paperwork and more time connecting with you and your child during the session.
Our Process
The assessment process is designed to build a clear understanding of your child’s strengths and needs. We gather information and use a range of assessment tools to guide this process. In some cases — particularly for older children or those approaching school age — formal, standardised assessments may be recommended.
Assessment sessions typically run for 60–90 minutes, including time for discussion. A detailed report will be provided within approximately 3 weeks, helping to guide the next steps in your child’s communication journey.
Assessment
Following the assessment, a block of therapy may be recommended to support your child in developing specific skills. Each session is thoughtfully tailored to your child’s individual needs, with simple home practice activities to help learning continue beyond the session and support progress.
We take a positive, engaging, and family-centred approach, and warmly encourage families to be involved in the therapy process. Sessions are typically 45 or 60 minutes and may be scheduled weekly, fortnightly, or at a pace that best supports your child’s growth and progress.
Therapy
Fees vary depending on the nature of the assessment and duration of treatment sessions. Please feel free to contact the clinic to request the current fee schedule.
